Guarantee Hunger Heroes Update: Over $11,000 Raised!

In an effort to support the Central California Food Bank’s annual Hunger Heroes fundraising campaign, Guarantee team members recently held fundraising events at each of the branch offices. We are happy to announce that the final amount raised for the 2018 campaign has reached over $11,000!

The funds will provide over 77,000 meals for hungry individuals, veterans, seniors, families, and college students who are struggling with hunger in Central California.

The organization serves 200 agencies in 5 counties and provides food to about 280,000 people each month. $.97 of every dollar goes directly to feeding programs and services.

2018 Guarantee Real Estate Hunger Heroes Campaign

On Tuesday morning Guarantee Real Estate hit every street corner with one mission – To join the fight against hunger in Central California. In an effort to support the Community Food Bank’s annual Hunger Heroes fundraising campaign, Guarantee team members collected donations for those in need of food.

About the Community Food Bank
The Community Food Bank is dedicated to ending hunger in Central California by providing food to anyone in the community with a need. The organization serves 200 agencies in 5 counties and provides food to about 280,000 people each month. $.97 cents of every dollar goes directly to feeding programs and services.

The kick off for the 2018 Guarantee Real Estate Hunger Heroes campaign was a huge success. Five offices participated on Tuesday and so far, over $5,000 has been raised!

The Community Food Bank Receives a $3,500 Grant from the Guarantee Good Will Network

The Guarantee Good Will Network recently donated $3,500 to the Community Food Bank to assist with their 22nd Annual “Feed Our Children” Golf Tournament Fundraiser.

About the Community Food Bank

The Community Food Bank is dedicated to ending hunger in the Central Valley by providing food to anyone in the community with a need. The Community Food Bank serves 200 agencies in 5 counties and provides food to about 280,000 people each month. $.97 of every dollar goes directly to feeding programs and services such as; their “BackPack Program” which provides children with a backpack of high-quality food to last through the weekend, and their “Mobile Pantry Program” which distributes foods to rural locations via a self-contained vehicle. During the fiscal year of 2015 the Community Food Bank served over 38 million pounds of food to the counties of Fresno, Madera, Kings, Kern and Tulare.

The Guarantee Good Will Network  is proud to have helped make the Central Valley a better place to call home by donating $25,800 to local non-profits during the first half of 2016.   The Guarantee Good Will Network is funded by contributions from Guarantee Real Estate, their real estate agents, and employees.

Guarantee Good Will Network Donates $76,500

Guarantee Real Estate along with its agents and employees combined their efforts and resources to donate over $76,500 to local non-profits in 2015.  The Guarantee Good Will Network (GGWN) charitable giving fund supports local organizations that provide safe shelter to people when they are in a time of need.  The Network also contributes to non-profits that offer services and facilities that are available to everyone in the community and make the Central Valley a more enjoyable place to live.  Since inception, the GGWN has contributed over $384,000 to local non-profits.

During the first six months of 2015 the Guarantee Good Will Network (GGWN) contributed over $38,000 to local non-profit organizations.
The organizations that have received GGWN donations in 2015 are:

Guarantee Real Estate, its agents, and employees contribute to the Guarantee Good Will Network which supports charities whose purpose is to provide Safe Shelter for individuals when they are in a time of need. The Network also contributes to non-profit organizations that provide services and facilities that are available to everyone in our community and make Central California a more enjoyable place to live. Since inception, the GGWN has contributed over $346,000 to help our community.

 

 


Guarantee Real Estate Hunger Heroes Donation

Representative of the Guarantee Good Will Network recently presented Andy Sousa and Denise O’Canto from the Community Food Bank (CFB) with a check for $17,135.74.  The money was raised by Guarantee Real Estate agents who supported the Food Bank’s inaugural Hunger Heroes fundraising campaign.  With the CFB’s tremendous buying power, the amount Guarantee raised in this campaign will help provide nearly 120,000 meals to local families.

The Community Food Bank acts as a warehouse for 180 agencies that distribute food to the hungry throughout Fresno, Madera, Kings, and Kern counties.  Each month they provide food to over 220,000 people.  For every $1 donated to the CFB provides food for 7 meals.

Community Food Bank Receives Guarantee Good Will Network Donation

The Guarantee Good Will Network gave the Community Food Bank (CFB) a hand in helping feed local hungry families with a donation of $1,250.
The Community Food Bank distributes food to more than 180 nonprofit distribution partners located throughout Fresno, Madera, and Kings CountiesThe CFB serves 160,000 people every month and distributes over 25 million pounds of food each year.  For every $1 donated, the CFB can purchase $8 worth of food.  Every $10 donation provides food for a family of 4 for a week.
CFB programs include the BackPack Program that provides weekend meals for children, a Mobile Pantry fresh food distribution, USDA – (EFAP) Emergency Food Assistance Program, a farmers market-style produce distribution called Neighborhood MarketsNutrition on Wheels (NOW) which is an nutrition education mobile kitchen, Partner Pantry Program, and CalFresh Outreach.

Holiday Donations Made to Local Nonprofits

The Guarantee Good Will Network made special “Holiday Season” donations of $500 each to 8 organizations that have previously received funding in 2012.  Those organizations and their total 2012 donations are:
In total the Guarantee Good Will Network donated $48,690 in 2012 to 39 non-profits.  Since inception, the GGN has contributed over $215,000 to Central Valley non-profits.
