2017 Toys for Tots Project

Posted on by

Tis the season for Giving at Guarantee Real Estate! Continuing with our holiday theme of “Giving Rather than Receiving,” we are happy to announce that the Realtors® and staff at Guarantee Real Estate did a marvelous job at collecting new toys for Toys for Tots.

Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to local children whose parents can’t afford to buy them for Christmas. This is the second year that Guarantee has been given the opportunity to join the mission of the program, which is to “DELIVER” smiles through giving new and unwrapped toys.

Teamwork and community involvement is what made this project a huge success. Therefore, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank every team member, staff member, community member, and every client who participated in this year’s project. You joined a wonderful cause and made an outstanding effort in providing joy, goodwill, and cheer to children less fortunate. It doesn’t cost much to put a smile on a child’s face, but a smile that YOU created through giving is priceless!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU! Merry Christmas from all of us at Guarantee Real Estate!

Guarantee Real Estate Donates to Marjaree Mason Center

Posted on by

The Guarantee Good Will Network is pleased to announce a donation of $1000 to the Marjaree Mason Center. The generous grant will help support and empower adults and their children affected by domestic violence, while striving to prevent and end the cycle of abuse through education and advocacy.

About the Marjaree Mason Center

The Marjaree Mason Center was founded almost 40 years ago, after the tragic death of Marjaree Mason. Despite seeking help from medical professionals and law enforcement, Marjaree’s life ended at the young age of 36 by the hand of her abuser. Just one year after her murder the Marjaree Mason Center opened to offer safety and support services to those experiencing domestic violence in Fresno County.

The Marjaree Mason Center now operates three confidentially located safe houses in Fresno County that provide shelter, legal assistance, counseling, and education & training to victims of domestic violence. The center operates with guiding principles that consist of respect, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The Marjaree Mason Center provides respect to each client while focusing on each individual case. The counselors build on the strength of their clients by offering resources and teaching them how to prioritize each resource. The Marjaree Mason Center attributes its high success rate to its constant improvement year after year as it seeks to impact the lives of victims ranging in the thousands!

How Can I Help?

$0.85 of every $1.00 goes directly to victim services. One year the Marjaree Mason Center served over 5,600 victims. The organization continues to work towards a community free of domestic violence, but the organization is more effective with the assistance and support of the entire community. The Marjaree Mason Center offers several volunteer opportunities and ways to partner with them. Learn more about how you can get involved by clicking here: https:// www.mmcenter.org/partner-with-us

Guarantee Real Estate Woodward Park Clean Up

Posted on by

The Guarantee Good Will Network marked 2016 as a year of Service to the Central Valley. The idea was established by our President/CEO Andy Nazaroff who encourages us to give back by serving the community rather than looking to receive. With hard work and team effort shown by agents and staff, we are happy to see our vision unfold.

The Woodward Park Clean Up, held on Wednesday November 16 provided many hands to contribute to the beautification of the largest public park and rest haven in Fresno. Our team of about 80 arrived early in the morning ready, and willing to work. They were divided into sub teams and then proceeded to complete job duties which included; removing trash inside of the park and removing debris from the lake sides.

After each team completed their tasks, everyone gathered for lunch break and were greeted with a warm reception and lunch provided by Susan Renaut Britter of First American Home Buyers Protection. During the lunch hour, team members shared their experiences of the day with each other. The spirit of comradery and joy were certainly present and shared among those who worked together. I so appreciate the heart of our agents and employees at Guarantee. Their willingness to commit some of their valuable time to give back to our community says a lot about who we are!  Go Guarantee!”-Reginia Teter-Event Coordinator.

Guarantee’s Good Will Network has given over $424,972  to Central California non-profits for over 9 years. This same generous group has pulled up their boot straps and committed to giving back in time and service. This cleanup project at Woodward Park is only one of many service projects to come. I honor the efforts and am blessed to be associated with such a fine group of colleagues”.
-Andy Nazaroff-President/CEO

We are striving to push toward the end of the year and end it with success while we share in the spirit of giving.

The Guarantee Good Will Network has given a $1,000 donation to Inspire One. The donation will help replenish the organization’s general fund and help to continue with its vision: “inspire one, by loving those in front of you.”

inspire-one-everyone

About Inspire One

Inspire One continues to push forward and break barriers that divide children from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. The organization seeks to enlighten, teach and develop the gifts of ALL children. Through community involvement, cultivating friendships, building team work, and developing the talents of children through music and fine arts, Inspire One has accomplished a lot in the Central Valley.

insprie-one-curlygirl

It is the belief of its founder- Licia Clark, that if a virtuous seed has been planted in the lives of children during their youth, then fear and frustration will not have room to grow. If one pursues “the call” to inspire, the lights of purpose and expectation will ignite and the lives of children will change by the effort of those who care.

inspire-one-boy

Last year with programs in Biola and Fresno/Clovis, the organization made a difference in the lives of about 300 children. 6 choirs were formed and lessons in dance, photography, art, music, and sign language were implemented. During 2017 the organization hopes to open 3 more sites to attract additional communities.

How Can I Get Involved?

Inspire One can continue to impact the lives of children with the continued support of those who give by volunteering and those who generously give financially. Learn how you can Inspire One by clicking here https://www.inspire-1.org/donate/
