Guarantee Good Will Network Makes Donation to Hinds Hospice

The Guarantee Good Will Network made a $1,000 donation to Hinds Hospice. Hospice is a philosophy of care that focuses on patient comfort and quality of life rather than curing the person’s disease.
Hinds Hospice care is typically given in the patient’s home. Hospice care in the home is not 24-hour nursing care, so patients are cared for by family members, hired caregivers, assisted living or skilled nursing home staff. When symptoms become too severe at home then 24-hour care may be provided at the Hinds Hospice Home on Twain Avenue in Fresno.
Hinds Hospice also provides valuable bereavement support to families who have recently lost a loved one. They also offer a prenatal hospice and infant loss support program.
