Ribbon Cutting at Habitat for Humanity’s Almy Playground

Almy 7

Four years of planning, fundraising, and building paid off today as the children who live in Habitat for Humanity‘s southwest Fresno subdivision had their first chance to climb, slide, hang, run, and swing in their new Almy Community Park.  Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, Habitat’s Sabrina Kelley and Torin Blount, Guarantee Real Estate’s Sandy Darling, as well as other Almy sponsors and children from the community expressed their gratitude for the broad support that made this playground a reality.

Community partners for this Habitat for Humanity – Fresno County project included PG&E, Wells Fargo, Cargill, Fresno Regional Foundation, Darling International, Guarantee Real Estate, and the residents of southwest Fresno.
